Over 1,000 m² of HORSE PROTECT Liquid Rubber
Lüsche veterinary clinic trusts in floor coverings and wall padding from Dinklage in its treatment rooms, corridors and recovery stall.
The Lüsche veterinary clinic had every reason to celebrate, and we had no less reason to join in. The reason for this was that, after the third building at the specialist clinic for horses had officially been transferred to its intended purpose in August, the total area of the veterinary clinic (www.tierklinik-luesche.de) over which HORSE PROTECT Liquid Rubber flooring had been installed increased to more than 1,000 square metres. For us, this is great confirmation of our good work and the trust that long-standing partners and their horses have in our high-quality specialised flooring.

Flashback: we installed the first rubber screed floor in the veterinary clinic back in 2003. It worked so well that – when the second building has been built there two years later in 2005 – we immediately installed HORSE PROTECT Liquid Rubber. "The horses just feel safe walking on it, the flooring isn't slippery, even if a little ultrasound gel or other liquids are spilled on it, and there's no echo in the building when the animals walk on it", says Katrin Siemer, clinic manager at Lüsche veterinary clinic. She also praises the fact that the floor can be repaired quickly and easily in areas subject to heavy wear, for example. This cooperation is both professional and uncomplicated. And once the Gröne experts have completed their work, Liquid Rubber is fully load-bearing again within 48 hours – an inestimable advantage during ongoing operations.
All in all, the Lüsche veterinary clinic quickly decided that no flooring other than rubber screed from Gröne in Dinklage should be installed in the third building, which had just entered operation. And the result is convincing. "The quality, non-slip properties, seamless finish and therefore easy cleaning properties are as convincing as ever", says Siemer.

Recovery stall with special rubber flooring consisting of a soft composite system and foamed padded walls made of polyurethane (PU)

Gröne installed its special flooring system for recovery stalls in the new Lüsche veterinary clinic building for the first time, using a multi-layer process, together with foamed padded walls consisting of a high-quality polyurethane system '7 steps to a professional recovery stall from Gröne'. The high elasticity of the floor and walls protects the horses from injuries.
Installing and sealing this professional system, comprising nine square metres of floor space and 25 square metres of wall padding, takes three workers about one week. The Gröne team faced a particular challenge in the MRI room, where the rubber screed had to be installed in a type of Faraday cage. The reason being that the walls and floor were separately protected against radiation using copper plates. The solution was provided by wooden boards, which were first bonded onto the copper and then used as the basis for installing HORSE PROTECT Liquid Rubber.
