Protection and safety with Liquid Rubber
In horse husbandry, our rubber screed (Liquid Rubber) is used in stables, stalls and stable aisles, for example. It also provides a safe, non-slip floor covering for grooming and washing stations. Washing stalls or other wet areas can be scattered with quartz sand to increase slip resistance. The rubber screed also makes a valuable contribution to safety, hygiene and animal welfare in other areas of animal husbandry, such as kennels, mating stations and whelping pens. Floor coverings made of rubber screed are in demand and have been proving their worth for many years in veterinary clinics, and specifically in equine clinics, where safety and hygienic conditions are particularly important. Animal transporters for horses or cattle can also be outstandingly equipped with the rubber screed, because its elasticity makes it particularly animal-friendly.
For stalls and washing stations
In horse stalls, Liquid Rubber is unbeatable in terms of hygiene and comfort. The surfaces are completely sealed, stopping urine or water from seeping underneath and preventing bacteria and odours from becoming a disturbing factor. In the washing and grooming area, the standing areas for the horses are additionally equipped with a firmly integrated anti-wear mat. This mat is extremely robust and slip-resistant and can be perfectly combined with the rubber screed.
For veterinary clinics
Liquid Rubber has also proved its worth in treatment rooms at veterinary clinics. We have been working successfully in this area for 25 years and have already equipped numerous veterinary and equine clinics with our rubber screed floor covering, where it provides increased safety, quietness, slip resistance and hygiene. For animal transporters
As our Liquid Rubber G2000 is extremely animal-friendly and elastic, an increasing number of modern animal transporters (horses and cattle) are being equipped with this elastic flooring made of liquid natural latex. Since the rubber screed is watertight, it also optimally protects the substructure of transporters or trailers from rotting.

Please note: As the floor covering consists of natural products, lime efflorescence might occur, but can be removed with standard lime cleaners. Slight hoof marks on the surface indicate high stability, but do not damage the surface. Rubber screed for horse stalls & Co.
An elastic floor such as our G2000 rubber screed ensures seamless, gap-free tightness. Moisture and liquids such as urine cannot seep beneath the watertight, rubberised screed, which is beneficial for hygiene. The formation of bacterial growth is reduced and the development of odours is also contained. Horse stalls that are equipped with rubber screed are easy to care for and can be cleaned and disinfected quickly and easily. High-pressure cleaners and disinfectants ensure cleanliness and hygienic conditions on the rubber stall floor. The permanently joint-free bond is elastic, extremely resilient, non-slip, low-noise and additionally reduces the risk of injury – a particularly important trait in animal husbandry. In addition, rubber screed ensures good thermal insulation and can reduce the consumption of bedding.
