Recovery stalls Anaesthesia stalls

Protection and hygiene before & after surgery

The floor and walls in an anaesthesia or recovery stall at a veterinary clinic have to meet special requirements. The horse must be optimally protected, and the floor covering and wall padding in the stall have to be durable and robust. At Paul Gröne GmbH, we are specialists in equipping anaesthesia stalls and recovery stalls with high-quality floor coverings and appropriate wall coverings that offer the animals maximum safety when waking up and also provide horse clinics with optimum support in terms of quality and hygiene. We have been dealing with wall padding and elastic floors for recovery stalls for 25 years and have already equipped numerous veterinary and horse clinics throughout Germany and beyond with our special flooring and wall padding. Thanks to our long-term experience and equipping diverse recovery and anaesthesia stalls, we are able to provide expert advice and support – also as regards the basic construction of these very special facilities.

Floors & walls for anaesthesia & recovery stalls

After undergoing major surgery, the horses should be able to recover while standing safely and securely. The floor and walls must therefore be designed so that the animal cannot subsequently injure itself. It is therefore vital that the floor covering in a recovery stall is absolutely level and joint-friendly. The floor covering and wall covering must also be able to withstand nervous or even aggressive animals in the long term – torn floor coverings are not an option in a clinic! Elastic flooring and elastic wall plates are the best choice as they have shock-absorbing characteristics, the floor ensures good walking safety and both elements are durable and robust.

Our G2000 rubber screed is outstandingly suitable as elastic flooring for anaesthesia and recovery stalls. The floor covering is 65 mm thick, completely sealed and consists of three layers. The edge area is additionally reinforced to prevent tearing off between the floor and wall. A custom production consisting of wear-resistant rubber forms the covering layer on a soft, elastic middle layer. This flooring is mixed on site at the veterinary clinic by our experienced team and applied in liquid form onto the prepared substrate in the recovery stall. We produce the wall elements at our company and offer professional installation on site at your clinic. The elastic wall plates consist of a watertight backing plate, closed-cell cellular rubber and a highly wear-resistant polyurethane covering layer in green or oxide red. Our elastic plates are individually adapted to the spatial conditions and can also be used to precisely clad windows and doors.

Rubber flooring for treatment rooms

Safety and hygiene are paramount in treatment rooms at veterinary clinics, which is why the floor covering also has to be geared towards them in addition to the actual equipment. The floor must be safe to walk on and slip-resistant in order to prevent accidents or injuries, and must simultaneously be easy to keep clean and disinfect in order to curtail the spread of pathogens. Safety, quietness, slip resistance and hygiene are therefore particularly important in treatment rooms at veterinary clinics. At Paul Gröne GmbH, we provide the perfect solution with our rubber flooring for treatment rooms! Our watertight G2000 rubber screed is applied in liquid form and processed seamlessly to prevent blood, urine or water from seeping beneath it and enabling bacterial growth. At the same time, the floor covering is level and easy to clean – the ideal flooring for treatment rooms in veterinary clinics!
