The special natural latex flooring is the ideal surface for horses on all of their routes in the clinic: slip-resistant, joint-friendly and absolutely watertight, because the capillary effect stops after just a few millimetres. The rubber screed therefore seals the entire surface – seamlessly, durably and sustainably. It is also 100 percent repairable and fully load-bearing after just 48 hours. In cooperation with Poort Bau (link: www.poort-bau.de), experts in equestrian facilities, clinic planning and clinic construction, Frank Gröne and his team installed the rubber screed in two examination rooms and all of the corridors at the Hanse clinic for horses. The vets and animal carers are extremely satisfied with the special flooring. They were also bowled over by the service provided during the construction phase. Changes at short notice were implemented quickly and reliably.
Besides the rubber screed, Gröne also padded the walls and floors of two recovery stalls and additionally installed high-quality Norament rubber flooring in the stand-up operating theatre at the horse clinic. If you will, three trades from a single source.
High standards of hygiene and health for the horses
HORSE PROTECT Liquid Rubber meets the high standards of the Hanse clinic for horses, formerly the Wiedaugrund veterinary clinic, for the hygiene and health of the horses: each day, up to 100 horses move between the clinic's total of 40 stalls and the examination rooms. The flooring needed to be accordingly stable, durable and hard-wearing to withstand the constant strain of the animals' hooves. An additional criterion for the Hanse clinic was that cleaning should be as easy as possible; after all, the floor has to be disinfected after every examination. The high-quality rubber screed's characteristics meet these individual requirements. Installed with a thickness of only 20 millimetres, natural latex flooring effortlessly withstands the weight of the animals and the strain caused by their hooves.
