Up to 150 horses live on the Albführen Estate. The animals are trained for international show jumping and dressage competitions under absolutely outstanding conditions. And because the perfect environment also includes optimum stalls, rubber screed from Gröne was used to cover the entire floor, including the paths, when a new stable was built. The experts from Dinklage installed the particularly safe, non-slip and elastic special flooring made of natural rubber over a total area of around 400 square metres.

Durable contribution to animal safety and hygiene
The rubber screed not only makes a valuable contribution to animal safety, but also improves hygiene in the stalls at the same time. The surfaces are completely sealed, meaning that urine and water don't stand a chance. Bacterial growth is prevented and unpleasant odours are banished. The rubber screed is also extremely robust, which further increases the durability of the special flooring extensively.

Incidentally, rubber screed was not only installed in the new building. Impressed by our services and products, the Albführen stud farm also had the special flooring installed in numerous stalls in the existing building. Gröne's experts additionally outfitted a ComfortStall with a specially padded 35-mm-thick floor made of special foam and a 5-mm-thick, highly-elastic Ironclad special rubber mat that is securely tensioned all around.

Our ComfortStall stall flooring is the absolute pinnacle for horses – to the great satisfaction of trainers, riders and animals alike. And who knows, an Olympic participant may once again be walking on rubber screed from Gröne right now. Because amongst others, Swiss Olympic champion Steve Guerdat, who won the FEI World Cup Final in Las Vegas in 2015 with Albführen's Paille de la Roque, works closely together with the Estate.
